World of Warcraft Registration Guide

There are 2 known methods to activate your World of Warcraft account. Please choose your preferred method:

Malaysian bank issued credit card

or if you do not have a credit card

World of Warcraft 60-Day Pre-paid Game Card


Activating Your Account with a Malaysian Bank Issued Credit Card

1. Log in to http://signup.worldofwarcraft.com

2. Click on "Create Account"to continue.

3. Read the EULA agreement. Click "I Agree" to continue.

4. Enter the Authentication Key & Security Check numbers to continue.

5. Enter you contact info. Use an Australian address (Malaysian address not accepted). For examples: please log in to http://www.yellowpages.com.au. Be sure to confirm your First Name, Last Name & Email Address (yes!, real info for these 3 fields). Click "Continue" to go to the next page.

6. Enter your credit card information on this page. Be sure to select the proper card type and select your preferred billing cycle. Click "Continue" to go to the next page. If you encounter any problems at this step, please clear your browser's history/temporary Internet files and try again with another credit card.

7. Enter your username, password and secret question. Click "Continue" to go to the next page.

8. Verify all your information and click "Create Account".

9. When your account has been successfully created, please log in to http://worldofwarcraft.com/account to manage your account.

10. Enter your username and password to continue.

11. Go to Manage Account > Change Contact Info. Update the record to reflect your real contact info (Malaysian address accepted here).

12. If you would like to pay your monthly subscription fees by Pre-paid 60-Day Game Card, go to Manage Account > Change Subscription to cancel your credit card.
(Hint: A single credit card may be used to activate multiple accounts. Just remember to change the payment method afterwards)


Activating Your Account with a World of Warcraft 60-Day Pre-paid Game Card

1. Using Internet Explorer, go to Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Lan Settings.

2. Enter any of the following information under "Proxy Server" tab.

170.224.224.13, Port: 80

If the proxy listed above is dead, please google for Australia/US/Canada/New Zealand proxy server

3. Log in to http://signup.worldofwarcraft.com

4. Click on "Create Account"to continue.

5. Read the EULA agreement. Click "I Agree" to continue.

6. Enter the Authentication Key & Security Check numbers to continue.

7. Enter you contact info. Use an Australian address (Malaysian address not accepted). For examples: please log in to http://www.yellowpages.com.au. Be sure to confirm your First Name, Last Name & Email Address (yes!, real info for these 3 fields). Click "Continue" to go to the next page.

8. Select "Game Card Options "and enter your game card information on this page. Click "Continue" to go to the next page.

7. Enter your username, password and secret question. Click "Continue" to go to the next page.

8. Verify all your information and click "Create Account".

9. When your account has been successfully created, please log in to http://worldofwarcraft.com/account to manage your account.

10. Enter your username and password to continue.

11. Go to Manage Account > Change Contact Info. Update the record to reflect your real contact info (Malaysian address accepted here).
